Product Specifications

  • Quantity: 4 Pieces

  • Material: High-quality EPDM Rubber with a brass threaded insert

  • Thread Size: M5 x 0.8mm (Standard Metric)

  • Grip Range: Typically fits panels 0.4mm to 4.9mm thick

  • Required Hole Size: Approximately 10mm (fits most standard fairing mounts)

Key Features

  • Vibration Isolation: The flexible rubber body absorbs engine and road vibrations, preventing plastic panels from cracking or rattling.

  • Corrosion Resistant: The internal brass insert and EPDM rubber outer casing are resistant to water, oil, and road grime.

  • Blind Fastening: Ideal for "blind hole" installations where you cannot access the back of the panel to hold a traditional nut.

  • Sealing Properties: When tightened, the rubber expands to create a tight, weather-resistant seal against the mounting surface.

Installation Guide

  1. Insert: Push the rubber nut into the pre-drilled hole until the flange is flush against the surface.

  2. Align: Place your component (e.g., a windscreen or bracket) over the nut.

  3. Tighten: Thread an M5 bolt into the brass insert. As you tighten, the rubber "bunches up" on the back side of the panel, locking the assembly firmly in place.

  4. Note: Do not over-tighten; the rubber should be compressed enough to hold firmly without distorting the flange.
